Allen, Bud J. - Bud Allen, age 58, of Drexel, Mo., passed away on July 15, 2008, in Des Moines, Iowa. Services will be held at 7 p.m. July 19, 2008, at the Dickey Funeral Home in Harrisonville, Mo. Cremation. Visitation July 19, 2008, from 5:30 until 7 p.m. at the chapel. Memorials may be made to the Bud Allen Memorial Fund. He is survived by his wife, Pela Hensley-Allen of the home; son Michael Allen, Webb City, Mo.; stepsons Monty Hensley, Omaha, Neb., Steven Hensley and Phillip Hensley, both of Council Bluffs, Iowa; seven grandchildren; his parents, Wilbur and Freda Allen, Pleasant Hope, Mo., and six brothers. Buddy Joe Allen, Nov. 9, 1949 - July 15, 2008 - Buddy Joe Allen, 58, Drexel, died July 15, 2008. He was born November 9, 1949, in Springfield, the son of Wilbur Augustus and Freda Juanita (Stark) Allen. Cremation. Services were July 19 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville.

Dale Lynwood Allen, Jr., January 25, 1952 - June 2, 2008. Dale Lynwood Allen, Jr., 56, Lee's Summit, MO, died Monday, June 2, 2008 at Research Medical Center, Kansas City, MO. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, June 5 at the Crescent Hill Cemetery, Adrian, MO. Friends may call from 1:00-6:00 PM on Wednesday, June 4 at the Atkinson Chapel, Adrian. Contributions may be made to Crescent Hill Cemetery, P.O. Box 325, Adrian, MO 64720. Dale was born January 25, 1952 in Butler, MO, the son of Dale Lynwood and Dorothy Jean (Morris) Allen, Sr. Dale worked as a truck driver for Jack Cooper and other trucking companies. He enjoyed working on cars and motorcycles. Dale was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy J. Knapp and his stepmother, Geraldine Allen. He is survived by his father, Dale L. Allen, Sr., Adrian, MO; three daughters, Amy Allen, Blue Springs, MO, P. J. Wedgeworth and Randy Strack, Independence, MO and K. D. Allen, Kansas City, MO; one stepdaughter, Jessie Dunnington, Kansas City, MO; two sisters, Jeanne White and her husband, Donny, Lee's Summit, MO and Donna Zielinski and her husband, Rick, Blue Springs, MO and six grandchildren.

J.M. Allen Dead -  J. M. Allen, an old and respected citizen, died at his home, 5 miles northeast of Adrian, this morning. Obituary will be published next week.
