BAIN, Jeanne (?? - 2009)

Jeanne Bain, 85, of Fayetteville, Ark., formerly of Kansas City, Mo., and former
owner and operator of the Stage Coach Restaurant & Bus Terminal in Rich Hill,
Mo., passed away July 22, 2009, in Fayetteville. Funeral services will be held
at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 26, at the Heuser Funeral Home, Rich Hill, with burial in
the Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
Saturday, at the funeral home. Jeanne is survived by her husband, Jim Bain,
Fayetteville; children, Donna Toppass, Aurora, Mo., and husband Oscar Toppass,
Rich Hill, Bob and Tera Evans, Raymore, Mo., Sharon Goodman, Gladstone, Mo., and
Dyanna Bain Albert and husband Doug, Fayetteville; 11 grandchildren; 26
great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services under the
direction of Heuser Funeral Home, Rich Hill (417) 395-2213.
BAIN, Mary Catherine (1934 - 2001)
Mary Catherine Bain, Jan. 4, 1934 - June 13, 2001. Mary Catherine Bain, 67,
Nevada, formerly of Butler, died Wednesday, June 13, at Nevada Regional Medical
Center in Nevada. She was born Jan. 4, 1934, in Butler, the daughter of Ira and
Mary Belle (Fansler) Firestone. Mrs. Bain was an associate cashier with Wal-Mart
in Excelsior Springs for 16 years before retiring and moving to Nevada in 1992.
She was past president of the Spring Village Retirement Club. Mrs. Bain was
preceded in death by her parents. Surviving are three daughters, Pam Morton,
Lee’s Summit, and Donna Jones, Kansas City, and Cathy Garwood, Nevada; a
brother, Jim Firestone, Colby, Kan.; seven grandchildren; and 10
great-grandchildren. Visitation was from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. today, June 15, at
the Underwood-Steinbeck Funeral Home in Butler. Graveside services and burial
were at 11 a.m. today at the Oak Hill Cemetery, Butler, with the Rev. Paul
Patterson officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer
Society in her memory. Arrangements were under the direction of the
Underwood-Steinbeck Funeral Home.
