Jimmie Richard Fields, January 22, 1932 - September 15, 2009. Jimmie Richard Fields, 77 of Butler, MO, died Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at St. Joseph Medical Center in Kansas City, MO. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 18, 2009 at the Atkinson Chapel in Harrisonville, MO with visitation from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Friday at the chapel. Burial will be in Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville. Jimmie was born January 22, 1932 in Stockton, MO, the son of Obie and Luree (McCubbin) Fields. He had lived in Butler for 20 years. Jimmie worked as a truck driver for 20 years before retiring in 1987. He enjoyed fishing and camping. Jimmie was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Frances Pauline, on February 24, 2000, three sisters and three brothers. He is survived by one sister, Goldie Coonce of Grandview, MO; his companion, Joann Carpenter of Butler, MO and many nieces and nephews.

Larry Gene Fields, 51 of Butler, MO died Friday, August 24, 2007 at his home. Funeral services 2:00 PM Tuesday, August 28 at the Atkinson Chapel, Adrian, MO with visitation from 1:00-2:00. Burial in Taberville cemetery, Taberville, MO. Contributions may be made to the Larry Fields Memorial Fund. Larry was born in Lee's Summit, MO on May 4, 1956, the son of Lewis Artis and Clarice Florene (Coonce) Fields. Larry attended school at Lee's Summit and had worked as a carpenter. He married Barbara Rodgers on October 12, 1976 in Bentonville, AR. Larry and Barbara lived in Rich Hill, MO for 17 years before recently moving to Butler. Larry enjoyed watching John Wayne movies, coon hunting, fishing, Chiefs football and raising chickens. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Ronald Dean Fields, four sisters, Shirley Ann Eslick, Caroyn Sue Barnard, Donna Louise Barnard and Barbara Ann Fields. Survivors include: his wife Barbara of the home; two sons, Lewis and Clinten Fields both of Butler; two brothers, Randy Fields and wife Helen of Horton, MO and Lewis Fields and wife Mary of Butler; four grandchildren, Colton Ryan Davis, Zachary Preston Fields, Beckett Michael Gene Black and Madeline Renee Black; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a host of friends. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Larry's caregiver, Melanie White. Arrangements under the direction of Atkinson Funeral Home, Adrian, MO.
