Kelsey Marie Golden, 1-year-old daughter of James Golden and Victoria Harding Golden, died unexpectedly, Wednesday, July 2, at the Bates County Memorial Hospital, in Butler, Mo. Funeral services for Kelsey Marie Golden will be announced by the Cheney Witt Memorial Chapel.

Kelsey Marie Golden, February 15, 2007 - July 2, 2008. Graveside services for Kelsey Golden of Butler, Missouri will be 2 p.m. Thursday, July 10, 2008 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Butler with Rev. Kevin Moyers officiating. Visitation, 1-2 p.m. Thursday, Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel (660-679-6555), Butler. Kelsey Marie Golden, age 16 months of Butler, Missouri died Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at Bates County Memorial Hospital in Butler. She was born February 15, 2007 to James Erwin and Victoria Carol Harding Golden in Denver, Colorado. Kelsey was a beautiful, blue eyed, blond haired litttle girl who enjoyed being around people and dogs. She moved to Fort Scott at the age of eight months and most recently resided in Butler. With a lively personality and a charasmatic smile, she loved her little pink teddy bear. Kelsey always wanted to be clean and didn’t like being dirty. Only a few short weeks ago, she started speaking and forming words. Kelsey is survived by her mother, Victoria Carol Golden of Butler, Missouri; her father, James Golden Jr. of Fort Scott, Kansas; one brother, Nickolas Kyle Golden of Butler, Missouri; maternal grandparents, Gary and Carol Harding of Littleton, Colorado; paternal grandparents, James Sr. and Connie Golden of Fort Scott, Kansas; a great-grandmother, Esther Marie Porter; uncles; aunts; cousins; and great-uncles and great-aunts.
