MCCOY, Lillian M. (1928 - 2009)

Lillian M. McCoy, age 80, of Lee's Summit, Mo., passed away on Monday, April 27,
2009, at Manorcare Health Services. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday,
May 2, at Langsford Funeral Home with visitation prior from 10 a.m. until
service time. Burial will be in the Crescent Hill Cemetery, Adrian, Mo. Lillian
was born on Oct. 21, 1928, in Mountain Grove, Mo. She retired from the Lee's
Summit R-7 School District as a Secretary at Hazel Grove Elementary School. She
was preceded in death by her husband, George McCoy and a sister, June McIntire.
Survivors include two sons, Bill McCoy and wife Debbie and Jim McCoy and wife
Lori; grandsons, Nick, Nate, Alex, Jacob and Michael; and nieces and nephews.

Archie, MO, died Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at Menorah Medical Center, Overland
Park, KS. Funeral services 10:00 AM Saturday, May 3 at the United Methodist
Church, Archie. Visitation 6:00-8:00 PM Friday, May 2 at the Atkinson Chapel,
Archie. Burial in Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville. Contributions to charity of
choice. Melissa was born August 11, 1965 in North Kansas City, MO, the daughter
of Gilbert Ray and E. Jane (Terhune) Dowding. She grew up in Independence, MO
and was a 1983 graduate of Ft. Osage High School. Melissa married Michael James
McCoy on November 18, 2005. Melissa worked for Sutton Trucking as their
bookkeeper. She was a Lutheran and had attended the United Methodist Church in
Archie where she worked with the youth group. Her hobbies included her family,
her children and her many friends. Melissa is survived by her husband, Mike, of
the home; two sons, Jason McCoy and wife, Heather, Drexel, MO and Morgan McCoy,
of the home; two daughters, Brittany Dawn and husband, Brett, Adrian, MO and
Melissa McCoy, of the home; her parents, Gilbert and Jane Dowding, Lee's Summit,
MO; one sister, Melinda Newberry and husband, Paul, Independence, MO; six
grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

at Oak Hill Cemetery in Butler, Missouri with Brother Bill Perkey officiating.
Visitation, 9:30 - 10 a.m. Saturday, Schowengerdt Chapel. Mildred Christine
McCoy, age 94, formerly of Butler, Missouri died Thursday, October 30, 2008 at
Medicalodge Nursing Center of Nevada, Missouri. She was born July 22, 1914 to
Grover and Ollie Jenkins McCoy in Butler. She is survived by her sister-in-law,
Elisabeth McCoy of Butler, Missouri; and two nephews, Wayne McCoy of Adrian,
Missouri and Mark McCoy and wife Amanda of Rich Hill, Missouri.
