Cremation memorial services for Ivan Quick will be 2 p.m. Thursday, July 24, 2008 at Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel (660-679-6555) in Butler, Missouri with Roger McKee officiating. No visitation. Inurnment, Oak Hill Cemetery, Butler. In lieu of flowers, contributions to American Cancer Society or Passaic United Methodist Church. George Ivan Quick, age 54 of Butler, Missouri died Monday, July 21, 2008 at Medicalodge Nursing Center in Butler. He was born July 20, 1954 to George Francis and Betty Jean Blankenship Quick in Butler. George is survived by his mother, Betty Quick of Butler, Missouri; a son, G.R. Quick and significant other Amber of Peculiar, Missouri; two sisters, Kay Marchesi of Columbia, Missouri and Nancy Wilson and husband Delmer of Rockville, Missouri; two grandchildren, Kage and Autumn; and uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins. He was preceded in death by her father, George Francis Quick.
